The PlayGuard™ timber range is manufactured using Radiata pine and supplied with a 15-year service life warranty*.
Radiata pine is a premium quality timber that during production is sanded, kiln dried and pressure treated using impra wood preservative to deliver a premium finished round timber range that is durable and easy to maintain.
M&M Timber is at the forefront of machining technology with state-of-the-art CNC machinery. This allows us to deliver standard timber components, along with innovative new bespoke components, to meet the needs of designers, specifiers and playground equipment companies. From drawings supplied our team can also provide bespoke quotations for each project.
The highly experienced and skilled production teams can machine timber components to any specific design or drawing and supply fully machined timbers in kit form for on-site assembly.
The M&M Timber PlayGuard™ is FSC Certified and benchmark approved by the Wood Protection Association. The WPA benchmark scheme relates specifically to the durability (resistance to biological degradation) of wood treated with preservative by an industrial impregnation process. It applies specifically to a treated product such as a post. Products certificated under this scheme are verified as being compliant with BS8417, the wood preservation code of practice.
