New Product: M&M Timber adds DuraSleeper and DuraEdge Timber to Range
Product innovation is at the core of the M&M Timber business; the Worcestershire-based manufacturer of quality long-life timber products for agricultural, equestrian, landscaping, construction, and amenity sectors. Exploring new products to satisfy growing customer demand is what the business thrives on and now the team is delighted to announce two new additions – DuraSleeper and DuraEdge.
Manufactured using Radiata Pine, which is kiln dried then pressure treated with Tanalith E wood preservative, the DuraSleeper range can be used in a variety of configurations to create edging and wall features. The sleepers are available in two finishes, rough sawn and planed, and can come in a selection of lengths. Bespoke timbers can also be manufactured for bulk orders to meet the requirement of specific projects. For landscaping or construction projects that include corners in the design, the new DuraEdge presents the ideal solution. It comes with the same specification as the sleeper range and can work in partnership with M&M Timber’s Unilog Pro landscaping timbers.
Timbers are kiln dried and pressure treated with Tanalith E, a copper-based wood preservative with high-performance credentials from Lonza Wood Protection. The preservative incorporates BARamine supported absorption into the timbers as well as helping the protection against certain copper tolerant brown rots which can attack timber. At the start of the year, M&M Timber gained the Wood Protection Association (WPA) accreditation for the quality of its treated wood for the 5th consecutive year.
