‘Bright Innovation’ – M&M Timber partners with lighting specialist to develop bespoke Radiata Sleepers and Bollards

Northamptonshire outdoor and garden lighting specialists, Lumena Lights, have teamed up with leading Worcestershire timber manufacturer, M&M Timber to develop ‘Bright Innovation’ in a range of solid timber path lights. Bespoke and exclusive, this stylish range of Radiata Pine Sleeper or Bollards can transform any outdoor space to provide practical and aesthetically pleasing illumination.

The product innovation delivers a fashionable and unique path lighting manufactured using solid Radiata Pine South African timbers – sourced from M&M Timber. Unlike most domestic softwoods which display significant cracks or splitting as the timbers season, Radiata Pine timbers are renowned for their low split properties and no feathering making them extremely durable. The stylish natural Pine bollards are fully sanded to give a smooth top-quality finish and pressure treated with Tanalith E wood preservative in accordance with BS8417. The sleepers or bollards have a 15-year warranty as standard, are very robust and look fantastic in any natural outdoor environment.

Solid brass or stainless-steel lights are inserted into machined cavities in the timber to create an elegant path light that will stand and shine the test of time. 12v and 240v options are available and all are LED compatible to ensure high efficiency, low maintenance cost and prolonged longevity. The Radiata Pine Sleepers and Bollards come in two heights, designed for 300mm – 400mm secure in-ground mounting.
