M&M Timber’s preservative-treated wood products are quality accredited under the WPA Benchmark scheme operated by the Wood Protection Association (WPA). This means our treatment operations are subject to an independent third-party audit by WPA to verify we are treating wood correctly in compliance with the British Standard for industrial wood preservation – BS8417. For treated wood used outdoors where there is a risk of decay in ground contact, our WPA Benchmark accreditation offers independent reassurance about the quality and performance of our products – Treated wood from M&M Timber is treated wood that can be trusted!
