DeerGuard: Durable Deer Fencing
M&M Timber DeerGuard provides a high-performing timber-fencing solution for boundary fencing across agricultural land, country estates and parks.
The fencing range of stakes, struts and strainers are ideal for perimeter solutions, where deer are grazing, but also to help protect land from wild deer in particular any new planting, young trees or hazel coppice.
DeerGuard is available in both a Machine Round and Morbark peeled option, both with clean four-way anti-twist points and are produced from specifically slow grown Pine. The high-performance timbers are kiln-dried to ensure moisture is below 30%. This ensures full sapwood penetration and maximum loading of preservative during the pressure treatment process.
Performance is critical in ground contact timbers and this is exactly why DeerGuard can be treated to standards which carry either a 15-year or 30-year warranty. No quibble and fully traceable. If the product were to fail at any point during this period the timbers will be replaced free of charge.
Other features:
- Slow Grown Pine
- Four-way anti-twist pointed posts for ultimate stability
- Date recognition ID tag
- Square packs for easy stacking transporting and storing

M&M Timber DeerGuard fencing timbers are FSC Certified and M&M Timber is backed by the independent WPA Benchmark accreditation. The WPA benchmark scheme relates specifically to the durability (resistance to biological degradation) of wood treated with preservative by an industrial impregnation process. It applies specifically to a treated product such as a post. Products certificated under this scheme are verified as being compliant with BS8417, the wood preservation code of practice. The Benchmark brand is recognised as a trusted stamp of quality wood preservation within the timber industry.
